So it's no surprise that Impact has this IR Battle receiver that looks exactly like Tamiya's.
Built to Tamiya's exacting standards, over-engineered by the Japanese, this receiver reliably receives IR hits from over 20 meters away in BRIGHT SUNLIGHT, and Tamiya's famous 45 degree angle defense from long range shots (above 5 meters)
The lack of the fins on this Impact Battle unit is deliberate, as it serves no purpose other than up/down angle defense, which is not practical for undulating battlefields.
As IMPACT Upgrades has retired from the RC Tank business, and we bought their remaining stock of their excellent IR Battle receiver, this will be a limited supply only! Once all gone, no more.
